ONE QUESTION, THREE PLACES
PLANNED GAP-FINDING
Knowalong finds the useful bit you might have left out
See what the note leaves out, then follow the author’s reviewed detail into the recipient’s guide.
Start with the original note to reveal its fixed question and the author’s proposed detail.
Illustrative guide. This example does not claim the task was completed.
About this demo. The questions and answers are fixed examples. Nothing here examines a guide, uses AI, accepts free text, stores an answer, or sends it to anyone. Photos and screens are illustrative, not customer images or product screenshots. Question-led gap finding is a planned concept.
THE REASON TO PASS IT ON
The little detail can save the next person a search.
Try another handoffGOOD TO KNOW
A few straight answers.
Knowalong is still in development. Here’s what the current work covers, and what it doesn’t promise yet.
Who is Knowalong for?
For people who need to pass along practical knowledge when they can’t be there to walk someone through it: a first shift, a regular dog walk, a house check-in, or the next step in a shared task. The aim is useful handoffs at home and at work, for whoever comes next.
Who might it not suit?
If you need certified procedures or verified sign-off, Knowalong doesn’t provide that today. It doesn’t replace qualified training or the approved source for safety-critical work.
What can the current app build do?
The private development build supports photos, written instructions, step-by-step guides, and choices that lead to different steps. You can browse guides by what’s happening now or by place, and export PDF or backup files locally. This website demo is a scripted example. It takes no visitor content and saves or sends nothing.
Can a guide include voice or audio?
We’re exploring voice notes and turning spoken walkthroughs into written details. Recording, playback, and transcription exist in a prototype, but still need testing on physical iPhones. We haven’t committed to voice as a launch feature.
How does the interactive example work?
Choose one of three fixed scenes and check the original note. The example reveals a fixed question and proposed detail. Review it, then approve it to see the recipient guide update. You can leave the question open. After approving a detail, you can compare the original note with the completed guide. The demo does not inspect a guide or use an AI service. Authors supply and review the details.
What is planned next?
We’re exploring ways to help authors notice details someone else may need, then let the author decide what belongs in the guide. Assistance that works on the device is an intended direction, not an available feature. We’re also thinking about everyday onboarding and small team handoffs, alongside useful guides at home and at work.
Can I share a guide with someone now?
We’re testing local exports such as PDF and backup files. Public link sharing isn’t available yet.
When can I get Knowalong?
Knowalong is in development for iPhone. It has not been released on the App Store, and there is no release date to share yet.
