Support

Email [email protected] with your question, your iPhone model and iOS version. Screenshots help. Please don't send private photos unless they are needed to show the problem.

Knowalong is in development and not yet on the App Store.

Make a guide

Create a guide in the library and give it a clear title. Add a step, take or choose a photo, then place the mark on the thing to press or find. Write what to do, preview it as the other person will see it, and save.

Add choices

A step can offer choices for different results, such as "Picture appeared" and "Still blank". Point each choice to the next useful step. Try every path in the reader before you send it.

Share a guide

Use the guide's sharing menu. A quick card sends one step as an image with its instruction. A PDF or an offline HTML file sends the whole guide to someone who doesn't have the app. All of these are copies: they don't update when you edit the guide.

Keep a backup

Export an editable backup for guides that matter. You can import it later as a separate guide. Photo cards and PDFs are not editable backups. Your guides are also part of your normal iPhone backup if you have backups turned on.

Restore a deleted guide

Open the Deleted tab and restore it. Once a guide is deleted permanently, it can only come back from an editable backup you exported or from an iPhone backup.

Transcripts

Voice walkthroughs are a prototype in the development build. Transcripts are made on your iPhone only. If no transcript is made, your device or language may not support on-device recognition. You can type notes instead.

Privacy

Your guides stay on your iPhone. Read the privacy page for details, or email [email protected].
